Myia has recently been accepted to the stunt man associations professional stunt training of the united states. Myia is one of only 55 people across the world who are accepted every year. By the end of august Myia will be qualified as a professional stunts person and will have completed a master aerial wire work course. She is also currently training in ancient weapons of the samurai from the original Japanese training methods at Jinenkan Los Angeles.

This has all transpired after recently completing incredibly intensive Krav Maga training with Krav Maga Ireland for a film Project which is due to be filmed later 2010 early 2011. Myia is training with Mick O' Brien and Patrick Cummiskey included knife and gun training as well as training in Jeet kune do and gracie jujitzu, boxing and kickboxing giving and incredibly adept street fighting style suitable for the film industry as well as real world situations. She has carved herself out a unique niche in the market as an Irish actress, being the only one with professional conservetory training from the world renowned American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York as well as a fully qualified stunts woman. Myia's stunt training will include stunt driving, fire burns, fight choreography, weapons work, building falls stair falls to mention a few. The world class training she has sought out and participated in has made her a uniquely skilled and talented Irish actress.
